A lot of people of African descent are wondering if black people live in Russia. Of course, racism happens in this world and they want to know if Russia is a friendly nation when it comes to their race. If there are a lot of black people living comfortably in Russia, then it means that the nation is more accepting of people of other races. If there are very few of them, then there’s probably a reason why they haven’t settled in the nation. With a nation with that big of a population, you have to wonder why there are very few black people if that’s the case.

History will tell us that it’s not impossible to succeed in Russia as an Afro-Russian. In fact, there’s an impressive list of notable Afro-Russians. Here are just some of them:
- Epiphanny Prince

Take the case of Remy Bazie. He was constantly harassed but that’s not the worst part. He was beat so bad at a train station in Moscow that doctors had to install a metal plate in his jaw just to secure it in place. There was nothing taken from him. It was a hate crime based on the fact that his attackers spat angry and racist words at him before hitting him across the jaw with an iron bar.
